Your inbox deserves better.
Every signup hands your email address to another database. MailU exists to break that cycle with an inbox that's born disposable.
The problem
You want a free e-book, a trial, a download, a one-time discount. The price is the same every time: your email address. Within weeks that address is on a dozen marketing lists, and the inbox you use for work and family is drowning in noise you never asked for. Data breaches make it worse, because leaked addresses are permanent.
The fix
Give them an address that doesn't matter. MailU generates a real, working inbox the moment you open the site. It receives genuine mail, codes and attachments, then disappears on schedule. Your personal address stays reserved for the people and services that actually matter.
What MailU is for
Signups and trials
Test a service without committing your identity to it. If it's worth keeping, register properly later with your real address.
One-time codes
Wi-Fi portals, gated downloads, quick verifications. Receive the code, use it, move on.
Development and QA
Test your own signup flows, email templates and delivery pipelines with unlimited fresh inboxes.
Marketplace strangers
Selling something second-hand? Hand out a MailU address instead of your personal one.
Public forms
Comment sections, webinars, coupon pages. Anything that emails you once and then markets to you forever.
Privacy-first browsing
Keep your real address out of databases entirely. Fewer records, fewer breach risks, less spam.
The principles
- No accounts. An inbox that requires a signup defeats its own purpose. MailU has none.
- Receive-only. MailU never sends email, which keeps it fast, free, and useless to spammers.
- Real destruction. Expired inboxes and their contents are deleted for good, not "archived".
- Boring infrastructure. The whole service runs on Cloudflare's global network: fast everywhere, and nothing to maintain on your side.
